The first game of 2014 is on Sunday May 4th.  This year is our 25th Anniversary season and we're looking to celebrate in style.  Rob Miller is heading up a Banquet Committee (see him if you'd like to help), which should be a good time hopefully with lots of past and present players attending. 
We've had 2 executive meetings already (minutes to be posted soon) and amongst the many items that were discussed, there are a few I'd like to mention here. 

•  No game attendance sheets required this year.  It's still required that you play 10 regular season games to play in the playoffs, but teams will manage this themselves in an honest and gentlemanly manner.
• Making sure we're using SPO approved bats, for safety and insurance reasons has proved to be a tricky exercise.  Suggestions of everything from wooden bats only to using only bats with the SPO approved "thumbprint" were tabled.  For now it's status quo but all teams will notified of any final decisions.
• Harrisburg "Fun Day" and Woody's annual golf tournament are planned again for this year.  Dates and details to follow.
